Everything, Taiga & Muki were great & very welcoming. Breakfast was marvelous. Room was very cozy & relaxing. The Onsen was great. Will definitely visit again

Situated in Tokyo, within 1.5 km of Sensoji Temple and 2.2 km of Tokyo Skytree, Ryokan Nakadaya offers accommodation with a shared lounge. I can't even begin to describe it, I loved this place. It really holds a special place in my heart. This was my first ever vacation alone, and Tatsuo was amazing at easing me into the stay. I miss Japan badly, and I feel Tatsuo was a key contributor to making everyday great. The location was great with heaps of food nearby, the rooms were cosy, felt like a home away from home. The toilets and showers were very clean and so was the rest of the building in general. Would live there if I could, 10/10

Opened in June 2013, The Edo Sakura offers accommodation in a Japanese-style Machiya townhouse located a 5-minute walk from Iriya Subway Station and a 10-minute walk from JR Uguisudani Train Station. My partner and I loved this place!! it’s so beautiful inside with a very traditional Japanese style. The room was spacious and had a mini fridge, the heater was great for the colder mornings and night. The futons were easy to set up and we’re comfortable so was the pillow and doona. They offer an onsen style private bath which was nice and relaxing. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay. On the day of our check out I was really ill so they allowed me to stay in the room to rest for a small fee of $15 AUD per hour. They were so accommodating and I really appreciated all their help. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. It’s a 5 minute walk to the closest station and has some restaurants and cafes within walking distance. one of the best stays I’ve had.

Ryokan Sansuiso is only 450 metres from JR Gotanda Train Station, on the Yamanote Line. It offers traditional Japanese accommodation with tatami (woven-straw) floors, futon beds and free Wi-Fi. Authentic Japanese atmosphere, very friendly staff, conveniently located.

Ryokan Kamogawa Asakusa is a 2-minute walk from Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple. Asakusa Subway Station is a 5-minute walk away. Very nice staffs and accomodations are excellent

In the Taito district of Tokyo, close to Great Tokyo Air Raid Memorial Monument, Japanese traditional house.Ryokan in asakusa with 2bedrooms features a terrace, free WiFi and a washing machine. Beautiful roomy space. Loved the traditional tatami. Great location with clear communication from the host.

Offering free bikes and quiet street view, Tokyo inn Sakura An is set in Tokyo, 200 metres from Tokyo Origami Museum and 600 metres from Chiisanagarasunohonno Museum. At the check-in time, we had greeted warmly with a map and directions to a local good food market and convenient stores. In addition, we had been provided with two bicycles and free goodies for our stays. At the check-out time in the early morning 6:30 AM, we had greeted with some meaningful gift for our stays. Exceptional reception and hospitality from the owner!

Nobori is situated in Ome, 42 km from Mount Takao, 43 km from Fuchu Park, and 44 km from Fuchu Art Museum. The 2-star ryokan has mountain views and is 41 km from Tamarokuto Science Center. It was stunning. I love staying at these kind of places, it is so special. These are accommodations which are run by the families of ( former) priests of the temple. They live in the house too, but you don't see or hear them much. The house was stunning, I love the old architecture. The food they made was SO good and much, I was always full. If you do not like sleeping on futons, this is not an option for you. The view on shimmering tokyo was stunning. The room was big and had its own bathroom. The women shared hot bath was clean and nice to use. I have been treaded nicely and with respect.
