Lovely place in a very quiet and secure neighborhood with easy connections to the center of Dublin. The room was nice and tidy - a place where you can really feel, that you are welcome! Breakfast was absolutely fabulous with a set menu and each course had many options. Lovely staff with the whole family involved as well! And two family dogs are nice and friendly!

Someone opened my door in the night so I had to be very careful to lock my door even when going to the bathroom. They key and lock were difficult to operate The hist still had Christmas decorations up like he hadn't been there in months. It really bothered me that the host wasn't there, and he never checked on me over the phone.

I’m actually live in Blanchardstown Dublin but have NCT test in a the early morning next day at Fonthill and have to travel to Waterford after the test so booked one night at Liffey Valley Homestay. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was very tidy and clean and around the house as well. When entered the room I felt like my home very cosy and comfortable and even have complimentary fresh fruit and soft drinks, bread, butter e.t.c. Highly recommend Liffey Valley Homestay
