I was a bit concerned as I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was confused if this was or wasn’t a hotel, it was like a tiny private apartment. The room we stayed in was massive with private bathroom and 5 minute walk to the beach. Plenty of restaurants just outside the place and they offer free breakfast at the restaurant underneath. A lot of places to eat in the neighbourhood. The breakfast was outsourced in a wonderful bakery just across the street (loved the staff and the attitude).

A recently renovated property, Valguarnera Studio Apartments is set in Palermo near Fontana Pretoria, Palermo Cathedral and Palermo Central Train Station. The location is very central that we could walk to all major sightseeing places including the train station. So many great restaurants near by! The apartment looks exactly the same from the advertised pictures. Communication with the host is easy & prompt. Self check in & out are easy. The apt is newly renovated, nicely decorated & very comfortable with a functional balcony. It’s spotlessly clean. Coffee, tea, olive oil & water are all a nice touch and convenient to have. Room service even being provided on our second day there. My husband & I love the place.
