The hotel was close to the falls. About a 5 minute drive. For the price, the hotel was great! The breakfast was nice. They offered a good variety of foods and juices. My children loved it! The bathroom was well stocked with linens for my entire family, we didn't have to ask for more, which was great!

We live close, never stayed on the US side. It was an enjoyable experience and we will come back when the weather is nicer and more is open. We did not expect much but went specifically for a restful night and day together. Mission accomplished!

Honestly we aren't sure why everybody thinks you have to go to the Canadian side to enjoy niagara falls. The American side has FAR more distance of accesible coastline, and just as many tours and attractions. Being so close to the falls and hearing and feeling the power of the water is truly an awe inspiring experience. You can actually feel the ground vibrate with the sheer force of water flow. It's completely unique. Both sides are amazing, but don't shy away if you don't have a passport to get to Canada!!! We went at the beginning of the year, and it was very quiet and uncrowded. It felt so intimate to not have hundreds of people around you as you try to enjoy such an amazing piece of nature.

Niagara Falls itself is awesomely impressive, and could easily consume an entire day to see the park itself, and the "optional at additional cost" extras, such as the boat ride, descent of the cliffs to river level, and observation tower. But there didn't seem to be a lot of "other things" to do there, in what seems to be a relatively unreconstructed midwest-ish declining-fortunes mid-20th century town. We were unable to enter Canada for passport reasons, but perhaps there is some interesting things to do there.... it is much more built up and upscale/modern looking, at least as seen from the American side. Looking into Canada from Niagara Falls, NY reminded me of nothing so much as looking at West Berlin from East Berlin in 1985.

I never get tired of visiting Niagara Falls USA/Canada.
I never get tired of visiting Niagara Falls USA/Canada. I've been there at least 25 times over the years, and experienced every season of the year. You can always find something different to do. The Falls alone are magnificent and amazing to see. You will never be disappointed taking a trip to the Falls.

We spent two nights in a hotel on the American side and one afternoon walking the park and looking at the US side of the falls. The second day we walked to the Canadian side which we enjoyed more, the views are much better with more to do.
Niagara as a town from what we saw close by the falls is a dump and we were glad to get away from it.

We went for the casino and some shopping - both proved to be excellent. Have been many times before so not really into the touristy thing. We did enjoy going offsite to eat, the Military Road area is chockful of great places to eat. Loved Bob Evans for brunch. We also went into Amherst to shop - they have Barnes & Noble and many more box stores, plus Macys and JC Penney. Driving around is very easy and road signs well placed. We also stayed one night in Lewistown, which was a great break from the action at the casino. Beautiful, quaint town, more boutique shopping along Center Street but great places to eat. Highly recommend Lewistown for a romantic get away.
The hotel was clean, room was spacious and location was great. A short walk to Goat Island and Niagara Falls. We were upgrated to a room with a river view which was fantastic, courtesy of the young gentleman at the reception. Sorry wasn’t able to get his name (check in date 3/10/23 around 5pm). Food at the restaurant was also good. Highly recommended.
We just wanted a place to crash over the night so this hotel was perfect for our stay. This looked like an old property very near to the city Aquarium. You can walk to the Niagara Falls state park from here.
The room was spacious with the attached bathroom, kitchen and good dining space. Things for basic necessities were provided.
Hotel at Niagara Falls (US side).
This hotel is the best solution for visiting the falls due to its location (5/10 minutes by the Canadian border on walking).
Good breakfast (you choose the day before what to eat).
Rooms very clean, beds comfortable and big bathroom.
I hope to visit again the falls and I will stay at The Giacomo
The location is fabulous , just 2 mins walk and you can see the Niagara Falls, no other hotel has this proximity to the falls. The staff are very good, helped us keep the luggage safe, change and do the tours before checking in.
The breakfast was good, house fries were very tasty, overall we had a wonderful stay.
Due to Covid breakfast was muffin, choice of either egg/cheese or sausage/egg breakfast sandwich and either juice or coffee handed out by staff.
Room was very nice and clean. Staff was friendly.
Location was perfect for walking to attractions. Entrance to Niagara Falls Park was immediately behind hotel.
This property was sooo nice! The breakfast had many more choices than the previous hotel we stayed at. Our boys enjoyed the pool. The rooms were clean and quiet. It’s about 12 minutes from Niagara Falls which is fine with us because it was in a nice area away from all the craziness.
Pretty good hotel for a short stay in Niagara Falls, within walking distance of the falls. Clean, with air conditioning, compared to other American hotels of the same class, breakfast was OK. Good coffee. Very friendly staff. The swimming pool, but we didn't have a chance to try.
I chose the hotel based on the location and the name, as Marriott would guarantee us some quality. I wasn't not disappointed at all.
Perfect stay in a great location, only 3 min drive from Niagara Falls.
The room was comfortable, very clean, spacious and quiet.
We were looking for motel near Niagara Falls, parking near the door, to sleep. We found all these. 11 minutes driving to the Niagara park, Gout island gave us to be on site early morning, free parking (pay from 8 am), wonderful walking trough empty park.
Great staff, great views (rooms facing the river get to see the nightly fireworks show over Niagara Falls), coffee service 24 hours at the front desk. The hotel is a short walk away from the Niagara Falls park and the Rainbow Bridge.
Could park vehicle right outside the door of our room. Location was near Niagara Falls State Park. Room had a full size mirror. Surprisingly, the beds were fairly comfortable (we slept good).
The room was really nice, big and well equipped. The location is fantastic, just a very short walk from the Niagara Falls. Hotel restaurants are nice and the staff was very helpful.
