I wanted a comfortable countryside house with a character, and it was exactly that. Charming house and very friendly host made our stay such a lovely experience. Bedding was great and plenty of it too. Sauna and hot tub were amazing, especially under the brightest starry sky.

Beautiful place in amazing Vidzeme region of Latvia. Beutiful winter experience, which can also be amazing in other seasons of the year. Splendid landscape and estate itself. Very good quality of materials and style. all You might need is there : towels, slippers, grill, kitchen equipment. PLace was prepared before our arrival - warm and pleasant. Great discovery !!!

It was a rare and cherished opportunity to disconnect and enjoy the serenity of nature. And, the cherry on the top, quite literally, was the open-air hot Jacuzzi under the winter sky and the sauna. Immersing ourselves in the warm water of the Jacuzzi while gazing at the Winter sky was a truly magical experience. The sauna provided the perfect way to warm and rejuvenate. This guest house truly stands out for its welcoming hosts, great vibes, cleanliness, peaceful ambiance, and the luxurious addition of the hot Jacuzzi and sauna.

Lean, frieny, all possibilities for vacation

The place was larger than it looked in the photos, it had everything you could need. It was comfortable and very clean with plenty of firewood to keep you warm. Hosts were nice and will come get the fireplace ready and do some tidying while you are out. The house is situated on a farm property, so there are some houses and farm buildings on one side and on the other is a nice view of a large open field. My suggestion would be some better window blinds for privacy downstairs and better blinds for blocking light upstairs. While it was still cosy and we had a great time, this place is probably better suited for families rather than a romantic getaway. Definitely excellent value for money. Oh and it's just a few mins away from Cesvaine, which is convenient. Overall, a great place and one of the best value stays I have come across in Latvia in terms of comfort, facilities and cost per night. Thank you for a lovely time!
